We have all heard of sparkly vampires! But what about glow-worm aliens? I know sounds cheesy but this new series is far from it!
I have this love for reading but I’m very picky on what I read. Theres nothing worse than getting into a book only to have it be the complete opposite of what you expected. So I recently stumbled upon Obsidian ( A Lux Series) by Jennifer.L.Armentrout, also a YA novel. My first thought after reading the excerpt was (aliens?) I’m not sure about that. But I got over it and decided, Why not? Let me read it! I was happy I did, it was refreshing, the characters were great, it was funny and a great story line that keeps you on the edge of your seat. So it wasn’t until I finished and then realized that it is a series of books (5 rumors circulating). The Second book (Onyx) made it’s debut this summer in August and book 3 (Opal) is expected to be released on December 11/2012! But overall I must say this is a great book by a great author and I would recommend it to anyone.
The way I see it is that there are authors who write and get it and others that leave you wondering (that’s it?). But this was worth every painful itch in my eye telling me to go to sleep instead of finish.

How to Kill a Rockstar by: Tiffanie DeBartolo
“And no matter what anybody says about grief and about time healing all wounds, the truth is, there are certain sorrows that never fade away until the heart stops beating and the last breath is taken.”
― Tiffanie DeBartolo
“Did you really want to die?"
"No one commits suicide because they want to die."
"Then why do they do it?"
"Because they want to stop the pain.”
